Do you have a price list?
No, prices vary greatly depending of the complexity of the design, but to help plan your budget, you can generally expect tiered cakes to start at $5.00 per serving with a minimum $150 order and sculpted cakes to start at $7.00 per serving with a $200.00 minimum order. Please e-mail or call me for a quote.

I got quoted a lower price by another baker. Why is that?
There is always going to be a less expensive baker
. Here are some things to consider:

I use high quality ingredients - real butter not shortening, free-range eggs, high quality chocolate, and no artificial flavors. The difference is an exceptionally delicious and beautiful cake vs "a cake."

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. You can look at my gallery, you can see the quality of my work which is a result of my studies. Ask potential bakers to see pictures of their work. Ask if the photos you see are of cakes they have created in their bakery (not stock photography or photos from other bakeries.)

When should I order my cake?
If possible, please allow at least one month's notice. I recommend contacting me as soon as possible to secure your date as I often book up several weeks in advance. A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. If you have a last-minute request, please feel free to contact me, and I’ll certainly try my best to fit you in.

Do you deliver?
Yes. Prices vary depending on distance but is generally $20-30. Contact me for details and prices.

How many servings of cake should I plan for and how do I cut my cake?
A good rule of thumb is to plan on having about 25% more servings than guests. For example, if you plan of having 100 guests, it would be best to order 125 servings. Most bakeries consider a serving size to be 1" x 2". That may sound a little small, but take into consideration that most of our cakes are 4" tall vs the traditional 3" tall. Here is a link to a cutting guide by Wilton.

Can you make a . . . for me?
Anything is possible. Often designs come from party invitations, themes and even fabric. Design details and colors can be matched in sugar. You are not restricted to the cake designs shown in my gallery, these are just to show you the quality of my work and some of the designs that are possible.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, checks, credit cards, or I can send you a paypal invoice.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your order, your deposit is non-refundable unless I am notified at least 2 weeks prior to the event. There will be no refund on orders canceled with less than 2 weeks notice.

Do you ship your cakes?
Unfortunately, due to the fragile nature of cake, I am unable to ship them. I can deliver to surrounding cities such as New Braunfels, Austin, San Marcos, Universal City, Schertz, Cibolo, etc for a fee based on the distance I will need to travel.
